Internet Service in Islamabad Blocked or Not? Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has termed as baseless the reports of shutdown of internet and mobile services in the country. Internet Service Blocked in Pakistan due to PTI Protest is a fake news said by PTA Spokesperson.
A statement issued by the PTA spokesperson said that no internet or mobile service in the country has been shut down and no decision has been taken.
A spokesman for PTI said that false news of social media internet blockade was being spread which was contrary to reality.
It is to be noted that some time ago rumors were circulating on social media that the government had decided to shut down internet and mobile service across the country in view of the long march to PTI.
