Naran Bridge Collapse on 16th August 2022 what’s the real story? The National Highway Authority (NHA) spokesman said Tuesday a bridge collapsed due to flash flooding near Batal, three kilometres from Naran.
All traffic returning from Naran has been stopped. A press release said that tourists had been advised to stay overnight at nearby locations.

Federal Minister of Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood has instructed NHA member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to restore traffic as soon as possible.
NHA workers have reached the site with heavy machinery and an alternate route is being made to restore traffic.
At the direction of Maulana Asad Mehmood, communications captain R. Muhammad Khurram Agha himself supervised all traffic restoration works.
Tourists were advised not to go to hilly areas due to poor weather conditions.
