Redmi 10 Prime will be launched in India today along with new Redmi branded True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds. The Xiaomi Launch Event will be broadcast live on YouTube. Before the start, the Chinese electronics giant revealed several details about smartphones and earphones. Most recently, the company announced that the Redmi 10 Prime contains a 6,000 mAh battery and also supports reverse charging. The Redmi earbuds have since been teased to offer 30 hours of total battery life, among other things. Redmi 10 Prime price, specifications
The Redmi 10 Prime is expected to be a renamed variant of the Redmi 10, which launched globally in mid-August from $ 179 (around Rs 13,300) for the 4GB 64GB variant and up to $ 219 (approx. 16,600 Rs.) for the 6GB 128GB variant. We can expect the Redmi 10 Prime to be offered around the same price in India.
So far, the company has confirmed some specifications of the Redmi 10 Prime, including a 6,000 mAh battery, one of the possible changes we can expect from the Redmi 10 – this smartphone had a smaller 5,000 mAh battery.
The processor of the Redmi 10 Prime was also confirmed by Xiaomi. The company announced that it will sport the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC – the same chip that powers the Redmi 10. Other details include a hole punch display, adaptive refresh rate, and two microphones, all of which fit the Redmi 10.
If all the other specifications of the Redmi 10 Prime remain the same as the Redmi 10, we can expect: MIUI 12.5 (based on Android 11), 6.5-inch Full HD display with 90 Hz refresh rate, up to 6 GB RAM, Up to 128 GB of onboard storage, a quad rear camera setup (50-megapixel 8-megapixel 2-megapixel 2-megapixel), 8-megapixel front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 18 W fast charge support and 9 W Reverse charging cable.
Redmi Earbuds price, specifications
With the latest Redmi smartphone, Xiaomi will also introduce a new pair of Redmi True Wireless earbuds at the launch event today. The company had teased the TWS earbuds last week, and back then we had seen an egg-shaped charging case and design that resembled the Samsung Galaxy Buds.
Other confirmed specs of the Redmi True Wireless earbuds include a Qualcomm chipset and support for the adaptive aptX codec. The TWS earbuds have also come with dual drivers aside from support for Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. As mentioned, a total battery life of 30 hours has also been revealed, aside from a splash / sweatproof design and touch controls. The quick pair support was also teased.
