Afghan Ambassador Daughter Kidnapped in Islamabad, The daughter of the Afghan ambassador to Pakistan, Najibullah Alikhil, was abducted and tortured before she was released. The Afghan Foreign Ministry condemned the horrific act, saying the Pakistani government must act to protect the Afghan diplomatic mission in Pakistan. Its not yet confirmed either it was a kidnapping case or may be its a game of Afgani Govt against Pakistan.
Silsila Alikhil was kidnapped and tortured in Islamabad before she was released.
“We condemn this shameful act with the strongest words and call on Pakistan to take steps to protect diplomats and their families,” the statement said. According to the Afghan Foreign Ministry (MoFA), Silsila Alikhil was kidnapped for several hours on July 16 and severely tortured by strangers.
The kidnapping occurred while the woman was on her way home.
“After her release from captivity of the kidnappers, she is under medical treatment in a hospital,” said MoFA, strongly condemning this heinous act and expressing its deep concern about the safety of diplomats, their families and Afghan political and consular staff Representations in Pakistan.
