AEW Dynamite Road Rager special edition. This episode was packed with exciting matches, some of which had some important stipulations. AEW Dynamite Results and Complete Details Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus jeopardized the tag team titles against The Young Bucks, but not just in a regular match. They fought in a ladder match, with the belts hanging high above the ring. In another contest designed to change the loser, Chris Jericho and Ortiz fought in a hair-to-hair match. In addition, the All-Atlantic Championship tournament began when Miro faced Ethan Page.

Let’s take a look at everything that happened on Wednesday’s show.

The first match of the evening was the Hair vs. Hair contest between Jericho and Ortiz.

While the entire Jericho Appreciation Society was there for their leader, Ortiz only came out with Eddie Kingston in support.

Ortiz was high and rocketing towards Jericho, but the veteran quickly gained the upper hand when his rival took an unnecessary risk.

Both men endured some big bumps in this fight. Jericho took a powerbomb off the middle rope and Ortiz fell badly to the ground. All of this happened before there was even a commercial break.

The match was chaotic, somewhat violent without being bloody and had some funny moments. William Regal was even allowed to sit on the commentary team, despite having only a loose connection with the men in the ring.

This won’t have been for everyone, but there’s a good chance a lot of fans enjoyed it. It was fun, as you would expect from pro wrestling.

Santana and Wheeler Yuta ran down to take out the rest of the JAS group. Then the most surprising part happened. Fuego Del Sol appeared out of nowhere and hit Ortiz with a racquet allowing Jericho to secure the win. He then turned out to be Sammy Guevara in disguise.

Ortiz grabbed the clippers and began cutting his own hair, repeatedly saying “Blood and Guts” into the microphone. This was a good way to get the show off to a flying start. Everyone in the crowd seemed ecstatic afterwards.

Grade B

Notable moments and observations

Jericho’s leather and gold-trimmed jacket was cool, but it kind of makes him look like a guy who’s trying way too hard to look young. You know that Steve Buscemi meme in the high school hallway? That.
The barber they had ringside looked so out of his element. The announcers said his name was Floyd.
Kingston’s Spinning Backfist always looks good. He hits it clean without actually leaving a bruise. It’s a skill that probably took some time to develop.
