Tekken 7 has been updated to version 5.00 today for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. You can get the patch notes from here.
The patch notes for the update were posted in Japanese and translated into English by Twisted Voxel. Learn more about the changes in the upcoming major update in the patch notes shared below. This will reportedly be the game’s final balance patch, as revealed by Bandai Namco.

Tekken 7 Update 5.00 Patch Notes
- Adjustments have been made to overall character performance
- Various balance changes and adjustments have been made to each character to close the power gap between them
- In addition, in order to make all characters feel the difference and create new tactics at the wall, we implemented “Wall Yorokage-Induced Strike” and “Wall Yorokage-Induced Guard”
- Addition of communication information displayed on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam
- Communication information display has been added to the battle screen of online matches
- In addition to the existing “Antenna Icon”, “Ping/RTT”, “Delay Frames” and “Rollback Frames” are now displayed
- Improved overall game stability on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam
- Fixed some system-related bugs
The developers have also announced a brand new playset in the Tekken series, which most assume is Tekken 8. It will be properly revealed during the upcoming The Game Awards 2022.
